The age verification. Is it legit?

Does any one still get that age verification thing when logging into this site? I only get it when I get on with my phone, never on PC, Is it really a legit thing from this site or is it a hacker wanting to harvest peoples info? I feel when signed up and log in should already been verified to the site!

There is another thread on this somewhere. It seems that only guys in states requiring age verification on sexually explicit sites are getting this request. Using a VPN with which you can alter your apparent location - Proton VPN, for example, may be a workaround.
