Does anyone know what the triskelion symbol means as it relates to bdsm. All I found on wikipedia is that it is a pre-celtic pagan symbol and that the translation from the greek relates to something three-legged (that should bring out a plethora of comments and opinions, lol).
There is such a thing as a triskelion knot although I have not known it used in BDSM. The origin of the triskelion as a symbol for BDSM devotees is thought to derive from the erotic novel "The Story of O" which is a story of dominance and submission and the triskelion embossed ring described within it. I have a tattoo of a triskelion on my left ankle.
