Well I have a confession to make. My husband recently came out, so to speak, to me as a cross dresser. He isn't bi or anything else, has no desire for anyone other than me, but likes to dress. For him it is a way to step out of himself and not have the worries he usually deals with. It has been an adjustment for me because we have known each other for over 20 years. We've only been married for 6 of those years. He knows that alot of my friends are drag queens so I couldn't understand why he felt he had to hide it.

FWIW - It's pretty hard to come out, under normal circumstances. But when you have a lot to lose, it is even harder.
FWIW being a drag queen isnt like being a crossdresser at all. There are a few CD (from straight men)Organizations , I suggest that he explore them.

I know what you are saying Marie and he is a member of one of those web groups. My problem was only that he didn't think he could tell me after 20 years of being together as friends, lovers, and a couple.

Well I did come out to my now ex-wife about one month into our relationship.
It was without a doubt The Hardest thing I have ever done. I dont feel I could judge him, however I think I do understand the hurt you must feel.
Have you explored My Husband Betty, and En|Gender (http://www.myhusbandbetty.com/) they have an outstanding web community (http://www.myhusbandbetty.com/community/) there with support for partners of trans people :D (Its Helen Boyds Baby she is a partner of an MtF transexual woman.)
Take care hon, and if I can be of help, let me know, OK?

When I was in college, I had a roommate who was one of the prettiest boys I ever knew. My GF was about his size, except for the boobs, and she talked him into letting her dress him like a girl. All three of us were amazed at how pretty he was. My GF said that if she ever found a girl that hot, she'd HAVE TO HAVE her!
We tried to get him to go out with us dressed like that, but he refused. Believe me, he was HOT!
