View Full Version : Question for the guys

I've heard that if a guy isn't really enjoying the, shall we say, physical pleasure that he's experiencing, he doesn't leak pre-cum, but if he's really into it he'll leak a lot. Is that true or am I listening to too much Playboy radio? ;)

Judging from my limited experience with me and a few others ... there is a bit of truth to that myth. But, some males are just copious pre-leakers. Others, not so much. I have one friend that starts leaking before anything physical occurs, and continues all through the action. Another one does not leak at all until just before he cums. Both really get excited and are fully into it..

But what about a guy who used to leak a considerable amount, but now stays dry until his orgasm?

My experience is that I vary slightly and that most men can tell you how much precum they have or don't have. My concern would be that something has changed for the man and he should consult with a doctor. Despite what the myths say, men are complicated mechanisms when it comes to erection and ejaculation and any change should be cause for concern. Of course men have been taught to avoid the doctor when it comes to sexual issues, so i hope your friend is willing.

Can only speak for myself . . . if "pre-cum" is going on . . . I'm getting into it, if no pre-cum then not really "excited" . . . yet . . . or just may not really be horny . . . .

And I think the interval between sex actions may be a factor too. Time is required to build up a good store maybe?

I'd say that it's more biological than anything. I think a guy's precum is the equivalent of a woman's 'wetness.' A woman's wetness increases with arousal just like a guy's precum production increases with arousal.

I am 71 and have never PRE CUM no matter what .

Precum is directly tied to a level of stimulation. I am not as stimulated if I am the bottom during anal sex as I am if I am the person on the receiving end of oral sex. In fact I don't always even have an erection when receiving anal sex, but that doesn't mean that I am not receiving pleasure from the act. A man emits precum when there is an expectation of penetration, at least as far as my body has always worked. Also I find as time goes by, it is less likely that I will even have precum unless orally stimulated first.

I think that it is an individual thing. Some guys precum while others do not or very little. It may increase for some if they are more turned on and still nothing even though the guy may be the hottest in his life.

Don't sweat it. Everybody's body changes as well as they uh...mature...lol

What's the backstory to this inquiry?

Pre cum has two main functions. First it changes the ph factor in the urethra so it contains less acid and that gives sperm a better chance of survival. Secondly the precum lubricates the urethra making it easier for the sperm to travel the length of the shaft. A man can ooze pre cum at any time but it is more common just before he gets a hard on and will continue sometimes as long as he is hard and even after he has gone soft again. How hard he is would be a better indication of his state of arousal than how much pre cum he is putting out.

THanks for the info, everyone. :)

What's the backstory to this inquiry?

A few months ago when my husband got hard, he'd leak pretty much the entire time he was hard, now after he cheated on me, he doesn't, even if it's been more then a day since he got off last. : /

If I use my amateur psychological skills here, I would say that maybe his cheating on you does inhibit his precum production. So your initial belief in his lack of enjoyment may be the case. He probably feels guilty? Without trying to be too nosy, can I ask how you discovered that he was cheating and how you reacted to finding out?

key is stimulation...more mental or in my mind as I fantasize even while it is happening...if that makes sense??... sometimes I see my partner and I almost as if a voyeur and it is exciting... I see the before, the anticipation, the during, the actual direct stimulation and it intensifies it and the indirect as I phase down...sometimes it is that same process that brings me the ability to rise to the occasion sooner than others

I am sure I may have messed this up...but I know what I meant when I started it

"Without trying to be too nosy, can I ask how you discovered that he was cheating and how you reacted to finding out?"

Gee, I hope that this is not going to become another "cheating male bastards" bashing thread....lol?

However
A few years back, I saw a report on male sperm production that factored in male separation from his partner. It was stated that unconsciously if a man is going to be away for a period of time from his wife that his sperm production changes the last time that he has sex with her before leaving. He actually creates sperm that hangs out and will attack another guy's sperm should she have sex while they are separated. They even showed images from under a microscope. Strange isn't it. So, who knows what his body may be doing or even why....let alone his conscious self.

I would call that a myth. Personally, 95% of the time I never have pre-cum regardless of how much fun I am having. That 5% of the time, if there is any it's a barely noticible wetness at the penis tip and it does happen at random times.

Hope this answers your question!

He told me, the other woman was a close friend of mine and didn't want to tell me but he couldn't keep quiet about it anymore. I cried a lot, slept for a couple days, spent a night away, and decided to give him another chance.

Oh good Lord..fighting sperm??? Somebody told you a bedtime story Darlin.
Gawd..now I have this image of fighting Ninja spearmies in my head..Shivers.
Georgie, dont sweat it honey. all men are different and not all react the same. Some will pre-cum like a leaky fire hose, some have Never pre-cummed. If he's very concerned, go see a good Urologist and explain the situation, or your own MD.
Good luck Sweetie.

Ladies....lol

It is scientific cutting edge facts. Although I saw it a few years back on the CBCnewsworld. Like the BBC, they are both light years ahead of US media.

I know that it is weird but it was in a very graphic scientific documentary on human sexuality and human sexual relationships.

Fact yes...but of course only a scientific hypothesis...so remain doubting Mary's...lol ....or cats. :)

To add another detail.

I may have actually personally experienced this when I was in a relationship with a woman in a different city. I hope that this isn't too graphic but she often complained to me that mid week after we had sex say on a Saturday that by Thursday she would have a discharge of well little me's...lol She kept asking me what was with me and my boys (she had a history of promiscuousness with other men and eventually me). I had no idea at the time that I was creating this type of sperm. I can not completely remember the detail from the programme as to how these killer sperm act. I think it is the viscousity but I may be wrong.

Does this board have threads of that sort? I certainly hope not and Georgy answered it in a way that makes things clear without bashing! LOL

That I would find hard to believe since sperm doesn't live very long after ejaculation! :tong:

How about we read the link posted above before we decide what is possible and what isn't.

I never released much precum--- NOT EVER ---Not even as a kid*----but man---I have met some guys who do just ooze the stuff to such a degree that it surprized the hell outta me that some guys do release so much of it---I honestly didn't know that guys did that and I am not exactly a spring chicken!!:bigrin:----so I really think it is a highly individualistic thing.

I don't think there is any right way or not when it comes to men releasing precum---it is simply the way a person is. They either do it or they don't.

* Back in the days when it was: "Damn--I didn't even know I was thinking about sex and its as hard as a rock--Holy shit! All I did was barely touch it and it shot off a huge load!! My god---its shooting another one!!!"

It ain't like that anymore, sorry to say--no matter how horny I am!!! LOL

I know! I know! But it really happened according to her...lol It wasn't just one week that it happened. It went on for quite a few months. We couldn't figure it out as it had never happened to her before(uh...I was the only guy who lived far away and out of town that she had been with ) and it never happened to me before or since? I did have long distance relationships with other women and they never complained about the sperm discharge days and days later. I also never had any concern about them cheating either though. The little devils were up to something...lol

I generaly tend to produce more pre-cum when I am with a man vs. when I am with a woman.

I think it may because I don't have man/man sex that often. By the time I do, I am so ready and excited that I produce more. I think if I was having man/man sex on a regular basis, my pre-cum would be less.

Also when I am tired, stressed or have had a lot of sex, I don't produce as much pre-cum.

Haha, I sometimes start precumming while soft when I get aroused. My wet spot starts as I get hard. Other times I dont get much at all. I can tell I get a big shot of it a little bit before I cum when I am having sex with my wife. I also squirt some on purpose as I do intercourse since it feels good and keeps it wet and slick. Its not pee, that I can do also and it feels different and good in a different way.
