How do you hook up?

Hi people, i have read the advice of Jon Pressick (featured article) We know you're out there somewhere!. Some good advice. However, i am scratching my head as to how to "hook up" on the Adult Friend Finder site. Everytime i do get a reply on that site; 9 times out of 10 they ask for a personal pic and then that's the end of it. I feel like all they want is your dirty pics so that they can "play around with them".
Has anyone experienced the same? I feel like i am wasting my time. Does anyone know or give some good advice as what i should look out for , so i don't come across those people who just wants pics and play games??

Whereas I certainly can't speak for anyone else; I like to get the pic of a person with whom there might be a chance at a romantic/sexual encounter. A face pic... not a cock pic, that just ruins the surprise :tongue: . Puts a face to the typing so to speak. Put a picture of your face up and see where that takes you.

I agree with IceLion. If your correspondent won't settle for a face pic, their motives are highly suspect.

If anyone looks at my profile here, they'll see a below-the-belt-pic. That's strictly an attention-getting device. Really though, I feel more secure posting that on freely accessible pages than a face pic. Am always happy sending to send a face pic if a one-to-one correspondence develops. No more x-rated ones though. One is enough!

Personally, I like to see who it is I am talking to and I don't expect anything more than a face pic. Anything extra is a treat. As far as I am concerned, a face pic should be enough for anyone out there really looking to hook up. Hope it all works out for you. :paw: :paw:

In the best situation a face pic on the site would be great. There is always the chance of someone misusing it somehow. But then again if its just a face pic and if want to be discrete and the picture is just you with your clothing on then I guess its not a problem its does not reveal your sexual interests or equipment!

But I would always want a face pic before meeting someone exchanged privately after a bit of conversation.

greg has the right idea.. like myself..

I prefer to lay down the law and let the interested person/persons know, (briefly not indepth) why i dont post photo's publicly and then tell him/her that I "prefer" to get to know a person a little before i trust them enuf with my MSN or Yahoo IM address where he/she can then see my display picture.. It usually gives them reason to be nice to me then if they really wanna see what i look like..

Let your picture be a gift that is earned. Your not a slut so dont give anyone reason to expect it from you.
