Is there a clear relationship between men who enjoy cross dressing as women and their sexuality?

Is cross dressing mainly a gender or sexuality factor?

Are there any/many Cross Dressers who are strictly heterosexual?

Do many/ most male cross dressers use this as a same sex erotica role playing fantasy scenario?

Not meaning to want to take away from men cross dressing as a focus but I just came across the opposite. Women cross dressing in Albania to the point of being sworn virgins. They look quite convincing. This seems more like a gender than sexuality factor. The female cross dresser gained status in the community for cross dressing as men and even taking male names. Some might call them transsexuals rather than cross dressers?

I told a woman I know what a lovely quiet little boy she had in the pram she was holding at the school park yesterday. "BOY?", she said. "SHE is dressed in PINK!".:oh:
Besides my detective skills being shown for how abysmal they are.......our nature to force gender identity on the young was shown to be in full stride too.lol

I would not have known the lady in the pic was NOT a male had it not been pointed out. So even IF CD's go to great lengths to shrug the shackles of gender identity with appearance, they still adhere to the rules of the 'game' and use cloths to communicate their gender identity IMO. It's just that their personal GI doesn' match their bodies bits.
I don't think it has much if anything to do with sexuality. From what I gather from CD's etc, appearing to be the gender that they identify with, gives them a far more comfortable feeling inside. Heterosexuals are just as prone to that as any other sexuality.
IMO...if putting on a suit, or pretty dress makes you feel good....why not?:) Putting on my 'sexy' male cloths makes me feel sexy, even if it doesn't make me look sexy. Who cares as long as I FEEL it!:bounce:

hey Tenni... I'm your guy. So far completely hetero with my understanding wife. Love the feel of sexy lingerie... Guess it makes me feel slutty. Wife likes to play with me when I'm in the mode. Still haven't sucked cock, but would definitely do it, especially in that scenario. Must still qualify that I'm still in the closet. The possible repercussions make it extremely difficult to come out.

FWIW, they say most crossdressers are straight.

I don't see why cross dressing would have anything to do with one's sexual orientation. IMO, it is likely either simply a fetish (people like what they like, it's as simple as that sometimes), or the result of a gender identity issue. I have personally known cross dressers who were hetero, homo, or bisexual - and a couple that claimed orientations I've never heard of and genders that sounded like they came from another planet. In short: it seems to be too widespread to be related to any one sexuality (IMO).

I love the feel of all the pretty stuff and then the role play that is involved. I use it to satisfy my fantasy of being with another man. I have found several partners that like to be involved, but non that want a relationship. Still looking though, not gonna give up.

cbb83 said what I've always felt and said to others on the topic of sexual preferences and fetishes: You like what you like, and it doesn't make you 'bad' or 'weird' because of it. Of course, there are things that are unhealthy or illegal and there should be a red line at illegal activities and those that are damaging physically, psychologically or emotionally to others, especially children. There are people who don't understand what turns me on, and there are things that other people enjoy that I can't understand how they could possibly derive pleasure or excitement from them.

Continuing with cbb83's post, my crossdressing, which is mostly limited to female undergarments, is a combination of the two factions he listed: as a fetish, because I love the sensation of soft fabrics against my skin, and as a gender identity issue. I do have a strong feminine side and have long felt I would have enjoyed being a woman.

Skirts are just so much more comfortable than pants!

Hi Newlynympho

I wonder if you feel a sexuality interest or a gender interest or neither with those CD clothes?

I know that you post that wearing skirts are more comfortable for you than pants.

Do you associate wearing these clothes as being female or comfortable?

Would a robe not give you the same comfort and maybe even more comfortable than a skirt and knee high boots?

I do not see any of these images in post 9 as feminine except perhaps for the light blue top. I don't see your tats as feminine per sei as much as drawing attention to your cock and anus. The form has a feminine symbolism (flowers) but it also seems to follow more Celtic symbols? Sexual enticements ..decorations?

Do you see your interests as more gender based than sexuality based? It seems mixed? Does your fantasy involve seeing yourself as the female partner of a man or ?

Good questions :) I do like to display my "feminine" side, along side my "masculine" side. With the exception of this coming September, when I will be in full drag as a scantily clad Harem Girl, I almost never go as "passable". I do, however, very much identify with the female side of my sexuality, and have a wonderful wife that supports in this :) . And I do wear robes on occasion too, to clothing optional events, when naked is too cold! And good catch on the Celtic! I am of Scottish (and German!) heritage, so there there is that nod :)

Plus, I feel "pretty and sexy" when I show off my legs, and nearly flat stomach (love to wear feminine belly jewelry too!).

Thanks for the info. When you write about your feminine side are you not pointing out gender rather than sexuality(heterosexual, bisexual or gay)? I mean I'm bisexual but don't' have any interest in cross dressing. I don't see my sexuality connected to Cross Dressing? As I wrote, I also see most of your CD images as manly in a strange way. Maybe, it is the beard…lol? I kind of understand that the feeling of the cloth can make you feel sensual? I get that it feels comfortable. I wear a robe around my house quite often.(mixture of comfort and too lazy to put my pants on…lol) I don't feel that my robe is feminine though.

Hmm. I've always played with women's panties (the first g-string I wore was women's underwear!). Love how mini skirts, leggings, womens boots, tights, women's ultra low rise jeans feel. Makes me feel more womanly, without putting out there "in your face". I guess that's why I can pull it off so casually to the general public :) . ANd yes, the beard can throw it off too!

In man to man sex, I am the woman, all the way! No doubt! In hetero-sex, I can switch it up.

The CDs I've met and played with were all bisexual married men. They were experienced in mm sexplay but had never acted on their kinky desire to wear womens' things with other men. They opened up to me about their fantasies/desires and I was more than happy to help them explore. The more it excited them, the more it excited me ! I always thought that transvestites were mostly heterosexual men desiring only female partners to indulge their desires and that CDs were mostly bisexual or gay men who were more sexually excited by the indulgence of male partners.

I understand how you feel. I am in daytona and there is no where to go! I'd suck cock in that scenario too! I love cleavage.

I think this question stems from the fact that so many guys on this site express interest in crossdressing. Some like panties, others go all the way, but a large percentage of men here want to crossdress.

I have asked in the past if there is a link between bisexuality and crossdressing. I was told no, but......

One theory I posit is that bisexuality and crossdressing are both viewed as kinky by these guys, and if you're revealing one kink on here, you might as well reveal others.
